# Promotional Animation
Bring your storefront to life with **motion** and **atmosphere**.
The **Promotional Animation** feature lets you **add visual effects** like falling images or icons. For example, a gentle snowfall over your homepage for Christmas or confetti during a sale. It’s a **simple way** to make your store feel **fun** or **unique**.
You can **choose from predefined** particle types provided by Accentuate, **upload your own** custom images or even **generate** directly through Shopify. Each particle can also include text overlays, allowing you to combine visuals with short promotional messages.
You’re in ***full control*** of how the animation behaves with particle movement, direction, and speed. You can set a start and end date, making it easy to schedule animations for seasonal campaigns or special events.

### Set up your Promotional Animation
To find the Promotional Animation, follow these simple steps:
1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store → Themes → Customize**
2. Choose the page or section where you want the content to appear
3. Click **Add block / section → Apps** and select **Promotional Animation**
4. Once the block is added, you can customize its appearance and behavior in the Promotional Animation **settings panel** on the **right-hand side.**
5. Click **Save**.
