Set up your Promotional Banner
To find the Promotional Banner, follow these simple steps:
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize
Choose the page or section where you want the content to appear
Click Add block / section → Apps and select Promotional Banner
Once the block is added, you can customize its appearance and behavior in the Promotional Banner settings panel on the right-hand side. It’s divided into a few sections and we’ll cover what each one can do.
In the Content Settings section, set your Banner Text to display your main message, such as a promotion, announcement or special offer. Optionally, add a Banner URL to link the banner to a specific page, and toggle Make banner text clickable if you want the entire banner to act as a link.
You can also enable Show button to display a call-to-action. Set your Button Text and choose a Button Style to match your store’s design.
In the Colors & Typography section, you can customize the background, text, and button styles of your banner. Choose a background color or upload an image, then adjust how it fits within the banner. Update your text and button colors, tweak font sizes and weight, and set the alignment for both elements to match your store’s overall design.
The Layout & Spacing section controls the overall size and spacing of your banner. You can adjust the Vertical and Horizontal Padding sliders or enable Full Width if you want the banner to stretch across the entire width of the page.
In the Icon Settings section, you can choose from the available icon options or select No icon if you prefer not to use one.
In the Advanced Settings section, you can add a border color to your banner and adjust its appearance to better fit your store’s design.
Click Save.
